If you use a Google Smart Device like Google Home, you may have encountered Google Smart devices trigger around you after you said "OK Google" to activate Google Assistant on your mobile phone.

Sometimes, the "Hey Google" hotword may be said aloud, but Google Assistant may be embarrassing you among friends.

As a solution to this problem, Google has said that it's Google Assistant devices will enable users to customize voice detection.



Mishaal Rahman, an editor at XDA-Developers, had shared a few screenshots of the feature through his Twitter account.



In September last year, Google officially confirmed that the setting will be available in the near future, and has announced in a statement to The Verge that they will be releasing it to Google Home users worldwide in the next few weeks.
